
The Holiday Season is here! For the next several weeks, quite a few holiday events will begin, most of them family friendly events. A quick breakdown of some of the highlights are below.
November 23 - Grand Central begins its annual Holiday Fair in Vanderbilt Hall. No better place to escape the cold and enjoy the light show and Holiday Crafts than in Grand Central. Thanks

November 24 - Head over to tree lighting ceremony this Tuesday in the Medieval Sculpture Hall at the
Metropolitan Museum of Art and behold a tree surrounded by 18th-century holiday decorations—cherubs and angels hang on the blue spruce, and a detailed Neapolitan Nativity scene spreads out below. Thanks

The New York Transit Museum Gallery Annex and Store at Grand Central Terminal is back with its eighth annual Holiday Train Show, featuring a working train layout with Lionel trains running on eight separate loops of track through a 34-foot long miniature New York City scene.
November 25 - While picking up the ingredients for your Thanksgiving feast, stop by Union Square's Holiday
November 27 - Lighting of the South Street Seaport Holiday tree is tonight. This 50-foot tree gets lit up on Old Fulton Street the day after Thanksgiving, accompanied by carolers and a festive atmosphere and is a little more off the beaten path than trying to brave the Rockefeller Center madness.
November 30 - Lincoln Center hosts its tenth Annual
Winter's Eve Holiday Festival with the lighting of the tree, performers, street musicians, jugglers, stilt-walkers. The fun begins at 5:30pm. To find out more information and see all the businesses that will be offering discounts during the Festival, check out their site

December 2 - The
Columbus Circle Holiday Market begins!
December 2 - Gridlock, tourists, and celebrity seekers descend on
Rockefeller Center for the annual Christmas tree lighting and accompanying festivities and performances, which begin at 7pm.
