After working on a trading desk at a bank and then at a hedge fund, I am now happy to be putting in long hours doing a much more rewarding job: mom. An admitted bargain shopper, I am always on the lookout for sales and deals, online or around the block to share.

I have a lot of fun working part time and spending the rest of my time with my son. There are so many things to do in the City with kids, and many of them do not cost an arm and a leg.

$25 is a bargain for most spa treatments, but I would recommend that before buying, head over to Yelp.com and see if there are any negative reviews of the place featured. Even though $25 is a bargain for any spa treatment, the last thing you want to deal with is an unprofessional service.

I bought a facial through Spa Sally (at the Serene Max Spa) and it was wonderful!! Even more so because I paid only $25.

This weeks Deal: $25 Facial at La Peau Day Spa. A 30 minute treatment and is usually 50 (50% off). You can upgrade to a Deep Cleansing Facial (75 minutes, usually $85) for $50.
